IIT JAM 2027 Registration to Begin on 5 September 2026
Big news for students preparing for the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2027. This year, the JAM examination will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. The IIT has launched the website jam.iitkgp.ac.in for applications. According to the information provided on the website, the brochure for the examination will be released on 22 August, and applications will begin on 5 September 2026.
Who Can Apply for IIT JAM 2027?
Students who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply to take part in IIT JAM 2027. Additionally, students who will be taking their final graduation exam in 2027 can also fill in the form. However, they will be required to provide proof of graduation at the time of admission.

Application Fee
Along with filling in the JAM 2027 application form, students from all other categories applying for one paper will have to pay ₹2000, and ₹2700 for applying for both papers. Similarly, SC/ SC/ candidates applying for one paper will be required to pay ₹1000, and ₹1350 for both papers.
Important Documents for Application
Applicants will need to upload several important documents as part of their application. Therefore, students should prepare their matriculation/10th certificate, passport-sized photograph, signature, caste certificate, PWD certificate (if applicable), etc., in advance.
