The National Testing Agency (NTA) is to re-conduct the UGC NET examination for three subjects: English, Commerce, and Sociology. The examination for these three subjects is scheduled to be held at various examination centres on the 9th and 10th of September. The exam city slip has been released by the NTA for candidates to appear for the examination. Candidates are now eagerly awaiting the admit card. The admit card will be released by the NTA on its official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, shortly.

Steps to Download UGC NET Re-Exam Admit Card
- To download the re-exam admit card, you must first visit the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- On the website's homepage, you must click on the Candidate Activity section.
- After this, you will need to click on the NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2026 link.
- After clicking the link, you must enter all the required details.
- Once you have entered your login details, the admit card will open on the screen.
When Will UGC NET Re-Exam Admit Card 2026 Be Released?
According to various media reports, the admit card for the re-exam could be released four days before the examination, i.e., by the 5th or 6th of September. However, the NTA has not announced an official date for the release of the admit card.
How Many Shifts Will the UGC NET Re-Exam 2026 Be Conducted In?
The UGC NET re-exam will be conducted by the NTA in different shifts on 9th and 10th September. On the first day, i.e., 9th September, the exam will be held in 2 shifts. The examination for the English subject will be held in the first shift from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the examination for the Commerce subject will be in the second shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The following day, i.e., 10 September, the examination will be held in a single shift. The Sociology subject examination will be conducted in the morning shift.
