UGC NET June Re-Exam 2026 for Three Subjects
A re-exam for three subjects is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency on the 9th and 10th of September, for which the city intimation slip has been released. Candidates can use the city slip to find out their examination city and prepare their travel in advance. It should be noted that the papers for English, Commerce, and Sociology were cancelled by the NTA after complaints of numerous errors, and are now being re-conducted.
UGC NET Re-Exam 2026 Schedule for September 9 and 10
The UGC NET re-exam will be conducted on 9 and 10 September 2026. On the first day, the exam will be held in two shifts. On 9th September, the first shift will be for the English paper, while the second shift will be for the Commerce paper. On 10th September, the Sociology exam will be held only in the morning shift. The timing for the first shift will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second shift will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
How to Download UGC NET June Re-Exam City Intimation Slip 2026
- To download the UGC NET June Re-Exam City Slip 2026, you must first visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- After this, you must click on the “Advance Intimation for Allotment of Re-Examination City to the Applicants of UGC-NET June 2026” link under the Candidate Activity section.
- Now, you must enter your application number, date of birth, and the provided security pin, and then submit.
- The city will then be displayed, from where you can download it to find out your examination city.
Expected UGC NET Re-Exam Admit Card Release Date
The NTA may release the admit cards for the UGC NET re-exam 4 days prior to the examination date. In such a case, it is expected that the admit cards will be made available for download on or around the 5th or 6th of September.
