The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced the schedule of pen-paper exam for their final year and final semester. The tentative date of examination is July 10. The university had added that all the intermediate semester and years will get an unconditional promotion to the next semester or year. Although, this is quite different from the schedule which has been initiated by Delhi University, where the online Open Book Exam has been planned for the final year students and has met with the oppositions from students and teachers.
As per the notification by the university, the students will be promoted on the basis of their composite 50% weightage of the marks in the internal assessment of the current semester in a particular subject. Although the academic council of the University had said that the duration for all the physical end term exams would be of two hours and it can be scheduled on weekends. Two exams will be held in a single day to minimize the visit of students at the same time. But this is a tentative schedule and guidelines, the final release will be announced according to the current scenario of the covid-19 situation.
