Prafulla Sabale, the Director of the Board of Examinations of Nagpur University, RTMNU said that due to the strike by the non-teaching staff in 13 universities in the state, the exams on Tuesday were postponed.
These exams were initially scheduled to be conducted from October 1st, and about 78,000 candidates were to appear for it. The Vice-Chancellors of all the universities participated in a meeting chaired by Minister Uday Samant related to the non-teaching staff strike. They have been on strike since September 24th due to the non-implementation of the seventh pay commission for them.
