NEET PG Counselling Round 2: Registrations Begin June 3

The registration of the second round of the NEET PG Counselling for the fields of MD, MS, and MDS seats will begin from June 3. The payment window for the registration will be closed on June 9. Candidates who are both interested and eligible may apply on their official website – mcc.nic.in.

After students are registered, they will have to select the institute and course and fill out the form for selecting courses they are interested in. The window for this will also close on June 9 at 11:55 pm. The seats will be allotted between June 10 and 11 after which the final list will be released on June 12. The students who get selected will have to report for the counselling from June 12 to 18. The registration was originally planned in April, but got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

During the second round, candidates will have to undergo document verification and submit the fees to book their seat. The seats which are still left vacant after the second round will be awarded to students in the third round of counselling.

A list of 330 students selected for the second round was released by the Medical Council of India or MCC. It stated that the candidates who have yet not been verified should contact the I.P University authorities immediately to prevent any loss of seats or time during counselling. Data of such candidates is stated to be only accepted until June 4.

Along with the above, the council also released a list of 8983 students who have been allotted colleges of their choice. It stated that if any candidate wishes to participate in the State Counselling, they must resign from their existing Round 1 seat and instead proceed to join the State Quota seat.
