24 Students in 100 Percentile Range as Results for JEE Mains 2020 Announced
Twenty-four students have scored a staggering 100% in the first examination of the JEE known as JEE Mains. The NTA or National Testing Agency announced these results along with the final merit list on the basis of the performance during the January and September examination cycles.
Of the 24 candidates, 8 are from Telangana, 5 from Delhi, 4 from Rajasthan, 3 from Andhra Pradesh, 2 from Haryana, and 1 each from Maharashtra and Gujrat. Based on this performance, the top two and a half lakh students have gained eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced to have their shot at gaining admission in IIT.
The exam centers all followed the safety measures to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus. The gates all had sanitizers, masks, and maintained proper social distancing. To further ensure the safety of the candidates, the exam was held in two sessions, and the number of examination centers was also greatly increased by the NTA.
