Of the 24 candidates, 8 are from Telangana, 5 from Delhi, 4 from Rajasthan, 3 from Andhra Pradesh, 2 from Haryana, and 1 each from Maharashtra and Gujrat. Based on this performance, the top two and a half lakh students have gained eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced to have their shot at gaining admission in IIT.

The exam centers all followed the safety measures to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus. The gates all had sanitizers, masks, and maintained proper social distancing.
