TANCA (Tamil Nadu Common Admissions) merit list 2020 for GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and TANCET(Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) candidates has been released by Anna University on its official website for TANCA i.e. https://tanca.annauniv.edu/. Candidates, who wants to take admission in M. E. /M. Tech./M. Arch./M. Plan. Degree Programmes (2020), should check their names in the merit list for further processing.
GATE (Engineering / Technology) category merit list has been prepared on the basis of score card of GATE 2018 /2019 / 2020 in the specific discipline of Engineering / Technology. GATE (Engineering Sciences (XE)/ Life Sciences (XL) category merit list has been prepared on the basis of score card of GATE 2018 / 2019 / 2020 score in respective papers and TANCET 2020 percentile score with a weightage ratio of 70:30. Merit list has been prepared for GATE (Engineering/ Technology) and GATE (Engineering Sciences (XE)/ Life Sciences (XL) category.
Seats will be allotted only through Online Counseling. Candidates are advised to check seats availability on the Web Portal https://www.annauniv.edu/tanca2020. Admission will be given on the basis of merit of the candidates and as per the reservation norms of Government of Tamil Nadu. The candidates have to pay the counselling application / registration fees (only online payment) Rs.500/-for General category Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.
