UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2021 has been declared by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who appeared for the UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination 2021 held on October 10 can check their results by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. The commission has also released the merit list containing the roll numbers of the successful candidates. As per the official notification, a total of 9,214 students have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021. Shortlisted candidates will now have to re-apply in Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for UPSC IAS Mains Exam 2021. The Commission will announce the dates and important instructions in the near future for filling up the DAF-I and submitting it on its website. Candidates are suggested to keep an eye on the official website of the commission to check all the updates related to the main exam.
UPSC will conduct the Civil Services Main Exam on 7th, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th January 2022. The main exam will consist of two types of papers qualifying and merit-ranking. These two sections will be Paper A and Paper B, i.e. Language paper and English paper, which will be of qualifying nature. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 25% marks to qualify for the interview round.
