Variation Of Teaching Processes Due To The Pandemic

COVID-19 has influenced every one in different ways. But the one thing it definitely affected was the learning of numerous students. Due to the Covid-19, schools are closed for over 9 months. But to ensure that the students do not miss out on their learning, teachers came to the rescue with a whole lot of new and innovative ideas.

As we all know teachers are the guiding light of our lives. This tough time of pandemic has only proven this thing right in many ways. The only way to fight against this pandemic was to maintain social distancing. And for that reason, schools are closed by the government. And to maintain the learning of students who do not have the facility of computers and smartphones, teachers brought many ideas to help them out.

In the lockdown period, a teacher of Jhajjar district has arranged a loudspeaker on a cart. The teachers come to that cart timely and give the lessons. The cart is placed in a suitable place and when the teacher Satyanarayan Sharma was asked about this innovative way he said, “The bigger issue is not the effect on students’ learning levels but that they should not drop out.”

Another teacher Tapan Kumar from Dumarthar initiated a new policy named ‘Shiksha aapke dwaar’. It is a new way where they turned the walls of the houses of the students and used to give lessons there. Similarly, another teacher from Chattisgarh Rudra Rana brought the school to the children by using his motorcycle to conduct classes.

There are also examples where the public announcement system of the village panchayat was used to give lessons. From setting up mini classrooms with a smaller number of students on alternative days to using the radio to give lessons – teachers have set up inspiration and we hope that this eternal bond of a student and a teacher never breaks in any situation.
