World Hindi Day 2021: The Top Universities Across The World That Offers Hindi Courses

Every year on January 10 the world celebrates the World Hindi Day. Hindi is the third most spoken communication within the world with 615 million speakers after English, Mandarin, as per the UN. Students across the world are highly interested in Hindi language and want to pursue a career in Hindi language.
Here is the list of top universities across the world offering Hindi courses:
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON: Washington university offers courses in Hindi language. The Asian language and literature department of the university offers BA, MA and PhD degrees in south Asian languages, which covers Hindi, Sanskrit, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese as well. The course will broadly cover topic on derivational morphology of Hindi, according to the modern Hindi literature – short stories, poetry, novels, drama, advanced conversational Hindi, advanced Hindi reading, studies in medieval Braj language, studies in medieval avadhi literature, studies in medieval Rajasthani literature, the structure of Hindi. The course has a total of 15 credits.
UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO: the department of Asian language and civilization of varsity offers programs on Hindi. BA program in humanities collegiate division offers a student to study any of the south Asian languages such as Bangla, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, pali, Sanskrit, Tamil, telugu, or Urdu for a year. The varsity also offers courses on aspects of Hindi literary culture for advanced students.
UNIVERSITY OF LONDON: the department of language, culture, and linguistics of the varsity offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hindi language. The UG programme covers chapters on Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu language. The postgraduate course covers Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit language and some other south Asian language.
