Eligibility for MBA
- A pass in any Bachelor's Degree* and
- Clearance of Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by Anna University / TANCET 2019 (MBA).
- The Bachelor's Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3/4 pattern
Eligibility for MCA
- A pass in any Bachelor's Degree* with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Any Degree* with Mathematics as one of the subject at plus two level. and
- Clearance of Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) Conducted by Anna University / TANCET 2019(MCA).
- The Bachelor's Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3/4 pattern

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Candidates should carefully fill up the application form
- Candidates admitted to MBA/MCA Programmes of Distance Education are not eligible for any scholarship or fee concession from Anna University.
- Differently abled persons are exempted from payment of tuition fee for which they have to produce a certificate from the Chairman, District Medical Board in the prescribed form which can either be obtained from the office of the CDE or downloaded from the Centre’s website.
Note:
- Study Centres will be operated in selected cities in Tamil Nadu where sufficient number of candidates are enrolled.
- Candidates should send only one application.
- Candidates will be required to bring all the original Certificates at the time of admission for verification.

- Create a User ID & Password
- Fill in all the details
- Upload the Photograph and Signature
- Recent Passport size photograph (size less than 20kb)
- Scanned copy of your signature with white background (size less than 20kb)
- Demand Draft for Rs.650/- Drawn in favour of “THE DIRECTOR, CENTRE FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION, ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI-25” payable at Chennai.
- Copy of SSLC Mark Sheet
- Copy of HSC Mark Sheet / Diploma Certificate
- Copy of Provisional Certificate / Degree Certificate
- Copy of Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
- Copy of Bank Pass book in the name of the Candidate.

Note: The University is not responsible for any postal delay / loss in transit. Completed applications received by post after the stipulated date will not be considered for the particular batch. Candidates applying through online are requested to fill the required details in the website and send the hardcopy of the same to the “Director, CDE” along with Demand Draft for Rs.650/- drawn in favour of “Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai” payable at Chennai.

SELECTION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidates who are provisionally eligible for admission will be informed through counseling call letter based on their rank obtained in the DEET/TANCET. Candidates or their authorized representative should attend the counseling with all original certificates and Demand Draft towards 1 st semester fee.
- Selection is based on the marks in the Entrance Test (DEET Rank) / TANCET 2019.
- Based on the rank Study Centre/Specialization will be provisionally allotted through counseling as per the choice of the candidates subject to availability of seats.
