Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2020 or OJEE 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to B.Pharm., MBA, MCA, M.Tech., M.Arch. and other courses. OJEE 2020 is conducted by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination.

The application forms will be available from 06/02/2020 till 07/06/2020. The exam is in online mode. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.

The minimum Academic Qualification required are passed in class 12th from a recognized board.

The subjects required for eligibility are of Chemistry /  Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies with not less than 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category)  in the above subjects taken together. 

OR

Passed Diploma (Engg and Tech.) examination with at  least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the 1st Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. 

B.Arch.50%45%

The minimum Academic Qualification required are passed in class 12th with PCM as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

OR

Passed 10 + 3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory  subject with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) in aggregate. 

and

Qualifying NATA Or Any other Aptitude Test conducted by  Competent Authority of the State Government / UT.  

B.Pharm.PassPassThe minimum Academic Qualification required are passed in class 12th with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biology subject. 
B.Plan.45%40%The minimum Academic Qualification required are passed in class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Engineering Drawing / Computer Science / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) marks in the above subjects taken together.

  • Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in Any branch of Engg.
  • Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) and passed 10 + 2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. 
  • Provided that the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First Year Engineering Programme along with the Second year subjects. 
  • Provided that the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. 
  • Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
  • In the above cases, a suitable bridge Courses, if required such as in Mathematics may be conducted. 
LE Tech.  (Marine)      -     -Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical and Electronics.

The Academic Qualifications for MCA are :

  • Passed BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engg. or equivalent Degree.

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category).

Application Form Filling Instructions

Students applying for the OJEE 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site.

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of OJEE 2020

  • PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
  • Qualification details
  • Scanned copy of passport photograph in JPG or JPEG format (size between 5 KB to 99 KB ) Scanned copy of signature in JPG or JPEG format (size between 5KB to 50KB) .
  • Scanned copy of left thumb impression in JPEG / JPG format (size between 5 KB to 50 KB).
  • Functional e - mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
  • Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
  • For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility, UPI or PAYTM Service is a must.
  • Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
  • It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

Method of Submission of Application Form

  • The candidate has to visit OJEE website.
  • Please go to the link ‘Online Student Registration System’ and open “Odisha Joint Entrance Examination - 2020”.
  • Then the process of filling up of Application Form for OJEE - 2020 starts. 
  • Choose the correct Application Form among the five available form options of A, B, C, D and E. 
  • You are allowed to register in one application form only. 

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the OJEE 2020 

  • Step - 1 : Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
  • Step - 2 : Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections 
  • Step - 3 : Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression.
  • Step - 4 : Payment of Examination Fee
  • Step - 5 : Once the payment is done, no changes are allowed. Once done the candidate will agree to the declaration by ticking the appropriate box and submitting the form. The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

Examination Day Instructions

Preparation for the Exam Day

  • The Admit card should be downloaded and printed Immediately.  
  • A few copies of the Admit Card should be kept in reserve as these are also used at the time of admission and counselling.
  • Photo to be fixed on the admit card, if required
  • Stationary related articles as mentioned should be kept ready.
  • Items not to be taken to the Exam centre or barred should be noted.

General information

Before entering the Exam Centre 

  • Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
  • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
  • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
  • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
  • Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
  • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
  • Usually no bags are allowed.
  • No eatables are allowed. 
  • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
  • Candidates are required to take their respective seats at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

After Entering the centre

  • In no case, a candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall after the exam starts. 
  • No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the time allotted for the respective paper. 
  • Candidates are not allowed to talk to each other during the examination.
  • Smoking is a not allowed.
  • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.

The admit card of OJEE 2020 contains lot of information including  

  • Name
  • Roll Number
  • Date and time of the Exam

Both the downloaded copies of the admit cards should be signed by the invigilator during examination. One copy must be submitted at the examination hall and the other should be retained by the candidate. However, the submitted admit card may be examined at a later stage to validate the authenticity.

Candidates desirous of knowing subject - wise marks should make a written request enclosing a demand draft of Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred only) in favour of “OJEE-2020” drawn on any Nationalised Bank at Bhubaneswar, so as to reach the OJEE office within 10 days of the publication of result.
