Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design 2019 or SEED 2019 is the entrance examination for admission to B.Des. (Communication Design), B.Des. (Industrial Design), B.Des. (Fashion Communication) and B.Des. (Fashion Design). SEED 2019 is conducted by Symbiosis International University.

SEED for the year 2019 has been announced by Symbiosis International University and will be held from 04/05/2019 to 11/05/2019. The application forms will be available from 24/01/2019 till 15/04/2019. The exam is in online mode. The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. Admit card will be available from 20/04/2019. Result is expected to be announced on 14/05/2019.

SEED 2019 Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for the above-mentioned program. A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma program may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for the above mentioned program.

    Register online by paying Rs. 2750/- (Rs. 1750/- for SEED and Rs. 1000/- for the institute).

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    Please follow the given checklist and be ready with the following for registration

      • Your passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format (the file size should not be more than 500 kb).
      • Your marks in SSC.
      • Your marks in HSC (Please choose "Appeared" in case you are awaiting results this year).
      • Your choice of Test (you will not be allowed to change the test after the registration is completed).
    • Click on Register
    • Read the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'I Agree' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
    • Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
    • Click on "Save and Continue" to choose a password and the hint questions that will be asked if you forget your password. Then click on "Submit" to register. The screen will now display your SET 2019 ID.
    • After successful registration, you will get an email containing your SET 2019 ID and password on your completion click on "Save and Continue".
    • Now the Application will redirect to Payment page.

    Examination Day Instructions

    • Please ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).
    • Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following:
      • Passport.
      • Driving license.
      • Voter ID Card.
      • Pan Card
      • AADHAR Card (UID)
    • An authorized person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photoid on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further PIWAT or ST-PI processes.
    • Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Authenticated Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.
    • Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronic or smart devices are not be allowed in the examination hall.
    • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the hall till 10.30 a.m. (for the morning session exam) and 03:30 p.m. (for the afternoon session exam). After submission of the test, candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.
    • Candidates are advised to locate allocated test center at least a day in advance to avoid any issue on the day of the test.
