Eligibility: (a) General candidates: A minimum first division in both 10 & 10+2 levels and a minimum of first class B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics/Biological Sciences-Honours) or a first class (60% marks or equivalent in aggregate) in Chemistry, Physics, Biological Science and Mathematics for Universities that do not offer Honours degree at the B.Sc. level; (b) Reserved candidates: A minimum 55% marks in both 10 & 10+2 levels and a minimum of first class B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics/Biological Sciences-Honours) or a first class (60% marks or equivalent in aggregate) in Chemistry, Physics, Biological Science and Mathematics for Universities that do not offer Honours degree at the B.Sc level. Candidates applying from the universities that are not providing Honours degree should clearly mention "Honours degree not provided" in their applications. Those who have appeared in the final examination may also apply but their final selection will be subject to securing the required percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. The Candidate with Chemistry/Physics/Biological Sciences (Hons.) should provide only Honours marks, whereas the candidates from those universities that do not offer Honours degree, the marks should be provided as the overall percentage for Chemistry, Physics, Biological Sciences and Mathematics.
