How to score good marks in language and literature papers is one of the greatest concerns for CBSE Board students. And Hindi is one of the subjects where it may be difficult to score good marks. There are two options for the CBSE Board Class 10 Hindi topic—Hindi Course A and Hindi Course B. Papers for both courses usually get conducted on the same day. With strong paper planning, learners will undoubtedly have an edge.
Here, we share some tips with valuable tools that can enable students to score high marks actively and effectively in preparing for their exams.
1. Finish the syllabus first:
First and foremost, it is advisable to read all the chapters in your textbooks and check them regularly to score good marks in the Hindi board examination. Nearly 50 percent of the question paper will consist of questions from the textbook.
2. Prepare according to the most recent paper model:
To know the examination pattern, level of difficulty, topic-wise distribution of questions, marking scheme, etc., students must follow the current exam pattern. If you want to score good marks, you need to build a syllabus analysis and exam writing plan. Besides, solving question papers from the previous years would create confidence in candidates and improve their question-solving skills.
The Hindi Course A and Course B papers of CBSE Class 10 are set in different patterns.
Class 10 Hindi Course A will have 13 questions arranged as follows in four sections:

3. Focus on the grammar section:
Be specific about the grammatical rules that apply to the topics that your syllabus prescribes. As much as you can, practice grammatical questions. There are always some exceptions when it comes to grammatical rules, and you must be aware of them too.
4. Practice essay type questions:
For the CBSE Hindi board exam, students need to follow a proper format while writing essay type questions. Students should know how to begin the lengthy answers and how to conclude. The word limitation while answering the long questions must be kept in mind.
Relevant tips for writing essay type answers:
a. Start your answer with a precise and creative yet informative introduction
b. There must be a fitting conclusion to the end of your article.
5. Building a time table
Every student should create a schedule to make their Hindi preparation more structured, and disciplines should be prepared. For all the subsections in the Hindi subject, you must devote separate time slots. For instance – half an hour for the grammar portion, 45 minutes for the tests, and again half an hour for practicing essay-type questions. But remember, set practical expectations that you can accomplish. Adjust your study hours when you think you are the most active and focus better and devote more time to the most challenging topics.
6. Self-Evaluation
Do not forget to assess your daily revisions from time to time. Review your answer sheet and analyse it well. Scan the questions thoroughly that you answered incorrectly or couldn't answer. 7. Remain confident and optimistic
