How to Prepare for NTSE Exam 2020

NTSE is one of the biggest examinations in India. Students of class 10th can receive state-sponsored financial support upon clearing this exam. The word NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination which is a national wide examination conducted by NCERT. The eligibility criteria to participate in the exam is to obtain a minimum score 60% in class 9th while pursuing their 10th. The result should be verifiable through the school or institution.

How exam is conducted?

The NTSE is conducted in two stages, that are stage I and stage II. The eligibility for stage I is decided by the schools and institutes based on class 9th results, whereas the cut off for stage II is decided year by year depending upon the performance of the students. The list of students qualifying for final exam is made by using a merit system.

Syllabus for NTSE

The NTSE has a wide syllabus where questions come from different topics and fields. Therefore, the aspirants must prepare it well as it is one of the toughest exams at that level.

The prize for clearing the NTSE exam is that it adds to the Resume of the students at an early age. Moreover, clearing one of the toughest tests in the nation gives students a serious confidence boost for all the tests that lie ahead for them. Also, the NTSE provides a scholarship worth Rs 1250 a month for the duration of study from class 11th and 12th. 

Preparing for NTSE may be challenging but it can certainly improve mental skills and is extremely beneficial for the students to try this test. It can teach them a lot about the competition that they will face in the future.
