NTSE is one of the biggest examinations in India. Students of class 10th can receive state-sponsored financial support upon clearing this exam. The word NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination which is a national wide examination conducted by NCERT. The eligibility criteria to participate in the exam is to obtain a minimum score 60% in class 9th while pursuing their 10th. The result should be verifiable through the school or institution.
How exam is conducted?
The NTSE is conducted in two stages, that are stage I and stage II. The eligibility for stage I is decided by the schools and institutes based on class 9th results, whereas the cut off for stage II is decided year by year depending upon the performance of the students. The list of students qualifying for final exam is made by using a merit system.
