Madhya Pradesh MBBS/BDS Counselling 2025 Details: Dates, Registration, List of Colleges and Rounds details

In Madhya Pradesh, admission and counseling process for filling Undergraduate Medical/dental seats is administered by The Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh. The aim is to fill the 2875 seats in the medical colleges and 1783 seats in the dental colleges of Madhya Pradesh state. The admission to these seats will be based on the NEET 2025 score. Out of these seats, 85% seats are state quota seats for which DME, MP will organize centralized counselling based on state merit rank derived from NEET scores and 15% are AIQ seats which will be filled by MCC on the basis of NEET 2025 Score.

Admission Process

For admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Madhya Pradesh, the online registration process has been started. Candidates can submit the duly filled application form till 11/08/2025 11:55 pm

To submit the application form candidates need to register online at https://dme.mponline.gov.in/Portal/Services/DMEMP/DMEhome.aspx

Registration:

While filling the application form, candidates need to register themselves by creating the login id and password. Candidates must then submit the correct contact details, name and DOB to complete the registration.

Filling the details:

After successful registration, candidates will receive an OTP number on their registered mobile number by which he/she has to log in to fill their personal and academic details like NEET score and rank, domicile, category etc.

Uploading documents:

Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature along with the prescribed documents.

Counselling Process

For Madhya Pradesh MBBS/BDS admissions, total three rounds of counselling will be conducted including one mop-up rounds. The admission authority will separately release the state merit list for each round. The list will be prepared on the basis of NEET-2025 score and it would include the details like name, roll number, NEET overall AIR, NEET marks, percentile, and date of birth. 

Round-I: 

DME, MP will publish the state merit list for 1st round on 12-08-2025. Candidates whose names will be displayed in the state merit list will be eligible to attend the first round of counseling. Candidates need to fill their choices 13-08-2025 to 15-08-2025 (up to 11:59 PM) of colleges as well courses, in which they want to get admission. The choices once filled cannot be edited. Based on these choices and courses filled, NEET score & rank, seat availability and reservation criteria, Madhya Pradesh MBBS/BDS 2025 admission will be granted for 85% state quota seats for round-I.

DME, MP will publish the result of seat allotment for the first round on 18-08-2025. Aspirants whose names will be displayed in the seat allotment result of round one will need to report at the allotted institute for document verification and completion of the admission process between 20-08-2025 to 28-08-2025 (up to 06:00 PM).

Round-II:

After round-I of counseling, the counseling authority will conduct a second round of counseling to fill the vacant seats. Candidates who will not be allotted seats in first round of counseling can attend the round-II. 

Mop up round-I, II & III(for MBBS & BDS)

Candidates who will not be allotted seats in round II of counseling can attend the mop up round-I.

Admission against stray vacancies (for MBBS/BDS)

After mop up round-I, II & III admission against stray vacancies will be done for the MBBS program only. For this, DME, MP will publish the number of seats and the list of candidates who will be eligible for filling stray vacancies.
