The United States of America is a High school hub for students across the globe. As per Data top, 50% of the world universities, or what we call dream schools are located in the country. Top 8 out of the Top 10 universities are in America alone. To add on 62 of the world leaders today are graduates from these American Universities. The satisfaction rates of international students in the USA are not less than 95%. The USA had to be the Land of opportunities for not just the Indian students but people across the globe.
Students who study internationally have a diverse perspective, Foster understanding, better abilities to adapt, and adjust which makes international destinations attractive. But last year as the Trump Administration was in power, they announced that students will be allowed to the country for 4 Years for the duration of the course. Even if the student is not able to complete his/her credits during the duration their student visa will expire. This made it a tough call for students wishing to pursue higher education in the United States.
What a lot of students want is to study abroad and take up jobs there, build a new lifestyle, and settle in the new country. But with the new policy announced by the Trump administration and covid-19 taking over the world, students did not prioritize studying in America. A lot of people shifted their focus to other destinations which not only gave them good education and top schools but the opportunity to freely live and explore the country with residency opportunities.
But new hope has come to the way of students, with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris been selected by the states as their president and vice president-elect, students across the globe are hopeful for change in the policies set by the old government providing the same old access and opportunities to students around the globe.
