AIIMS is an autonomous institution of national importance and defined objectives and functions by the Act of Parliament. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. The degrees awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS has released an official notification regarding the dates of BSc Post Basic and MSc Nursing programmes recently. As per the schedule mentioned on the official website, the exams would be conducted on June 5, 2020 now. The examination will be held in the computer-based mode.
Exams would be held for 124 MSc, 571 BSc (H) and 50 BSc post-basic seats in seven AIIMS across the country. Candidates would be allotted seat as per the marks obtained in the exam. Final registration status for MSc nursing will be uploaded on May 15, 2020, while for BSc post-basic it is May 16, the notification states by a report.
As per the rule, only the registered candidates would be able to download the admit card from the official website of aiimsexams.org on May 23, 2020.
