There are various entrance exams for admission in engineering in India. Here we are going to talk about some of the important examinations for engineering in India.
Here is the list of engineering entrance exam;
Joint entrance exam (JEE) mains: This is one of the most famous engineering examinations in our country. For the admission in NITs, IITs, IIITS and other government Colleges in India the candidate needs to clear the JEE mains paper. More than 11 lakhs students give this exam from all over the india.
Amrita engineering entrance exam: This exam is conducted by Amrita University for the admission of UG for B.Tech course. The registration for this exam has already started at the official website of Amrita University.
Gandhi institute of technology and management (GITAM): This exam is conducted for both PG and UG engineering degrees offered by the University. The online registration for the exam has begun on the official website of GITAM.
Hindustan institute of technology and science, chennai: The University conducts the HITSEEE exam for the admission in UG for BTech, Design and architecture programs. The application form is released on the official website of the University.
LPU NEST: The National entrance Test(NEST) is conducted by the Lovely Professional University in Punjab for admission to various programs including UG BTech course. The application forms are closing on February 26.
Manipal (MET): Manipal academy conducted their own entrance exam for the admission in UG for BTech program. Online application has started at the Manipal University website from December 10. The last date to apply is expected in the month of April.
PESSAT: The PES scholarship aptitude test (PESSAT) is organised by the PES University in Bengaluru. The candidate who qualified the exam can take admission in the University. The application process has started from December 20.
SRM UNIVERSITY: SRM University conducts the joint entrance exam for admission to BTech course. The application form was released on the official website on December 12.
UPES engineering aptitude test (UPSEAT): UPES University organise the entrance exam for the admission in BTech course. The online application form is available on the official website from December 14 2020.
VIT UNIVERSITY: VIT Vellore conducts the entrance exam VITEEE for the admission in engineering course. VIT has four campuses all over the India VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT AP, and VIT Bhopal. The application forms are available on the website of the UNIVERSITY till March 30 2021.
VTUEEE: The application form for the admission in engineering course has started. VTU University conducts this entrance exam for admission in BTech program. The online application form is available and the last date for the registration is April 2021.
KIIT entrance exam: KIIT University conducts the entrance exam for PG and UG degrees. The online application form for the admission in BTech program has started on the website from December 10.
JEE ADVANCED: This is one of the most difficult exams in India. To get admission in IITs the candidate needs to clear JEE ADVANCED exam. IIT Kharagpur will conduct the exam for this year. The exam will be conducted on July 3.
GOA common entrance test GOA(CET): The exam will be conducted on May 4 and 5 for admission in B.E and B.Pharm courses. The application forms are yet to be released by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa.
Symbiosis International Deemed University: Symbiosis University conducts Symbiosis entrance test for the admission in engineering, science, design. The exam will be organised on May 1.
