Education Ministry Supports The Drop-Out Students Of Pandemic

The Ministry of Education recently has stated to all the schools in India to activate the learning process as soon as possible. The learning process that was put on hold due to the pandemic must resume because according to the Ministry of Education, many students are at the point of dropping out of schools. To control this difficult situation, a survey will be initiated to find out the number of drop-out students and migrant students. These students will be helped to get back on track with their education and critical and creative thinking that was put on a halt.

A door-to-door survey will help to have the number of dropped out students of age 6 to 18 and also the main reason will be known behind dropping out. If the reasons are known and understood well, it will be a lot easier to reduce the number. Many ideas are proposed to make this survey successful.

Students will be distributed in small groups based on their numbers and will be called on different days to school. It will definitely maintain the COVID-19 protocol without harming students’ health and education. And the Ministry will also provide an increased number of textbooks, uniforms, and mid-day meals to engage the disadvantaged students.

In many places in India, teachers were providing lectures through the local radio or television. And this way had a humongous positive response. That is why these forms of providing education through online and offline will be increased for the easy accessibility of the students. Also, the method of education on wheels had a very good impact on the students and helped them hugely. This way will also be resumed and will be provided to small groups.

Children having problems like – residential problems, economical issues, etc. will receive special treatment locally from teachers and volunteers. The long 10-month stagnation of education was the worst thing to expect for the students. And the Education Department is trying hard to revive it positively.
