Global exams like TOEFL and GRE will be taken at home
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, ETS (Educational testing Service) has suspended the global exams like TOEFL and GRE across the globe. But these exams will be taken at home itself by the students across the globe except students from the mainland China and Iran.
The test takers who have been affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will now be able to attempt these global exams at home and it will be a great solution for worldwide.
Both TOEFL and GRE will be taken at home till the situation is conducive for tests to be conducted at centres," Srikant Gopal, Executive Director of the TOEFL Program, told PTI.
Srikant Gopal also added that the students will take the tests from home with considerable precautions being taken and must meet the highest standards for validity, reliability and security. Multiple best-in-class security measures will be employed for these tests that will be using real-time monitoring while adopting artificial intelligence technology.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), are crucial exams for admissions in top universities across the globe.
