The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for the IFS (Indian Forest Service) Main Examination 2025. The exam date notification PDF has been released online through the UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in. According to the notification, the exam will be held from September 16 to 23, 2025.

According to the UPSC notification, the subject-wise exams will be held on the following dates:
November 16, 2025: General English, General Knowledge
November 17, 2025: Rest Day (No Paper)
November 18, 2025: Mathematics Paper-I, Statistics Paper-I, Mathematics Paper-II, Statistics Paper-II
November 19, 2025: Civil Engineering Paper-I, Chemical Engineering Paper-I / Mechanical Engineering Paper-I / Zoology Paper-I, Civil Engineering Paper-II
Chemical Engineering Paper-II / Mechanical Engineering Paper-II / Zoology Paper-II
November 20, 2025: Agricultural Engineering Paper-I / Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Paper-I / Physics Paper-I, Agricultural Engineering Paper-II / Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Paper-II, Physics Paper-II
November 21, 2025: Chemistry Paper-I / Botany Paper-I, Chemistry Science Paper-II/Botany Paper-II

Exams to be held in two shifts
The UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2025 will be conducted in two shifts at designated exam centers. According to the notification, the first shift will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
