JEE Mains 2021 to be Conducted in More Regional Languages

While following the NEP of the Government of India, the Joint Entrance Examination 2021 will be held in more regional languages of the nation. This has been decided by the Joint Admission Board to ensure that the JEE Mains 2021 will be in line with the NEP 2020. As of now, the exam is only held in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

The update came from the twitter account of the Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal. In the tweet, he informed the students that the decision will help the implementation of the NEP. Currently, the only entrance exam conducted in several regional languages in India is the NEET.

The move will help students who were unable to score due to a language barrier to score much better. This can also lead to an increase in the candidacy of the examinations.

Another update was released regarding the JEE exams stating that the students who were unable to attend the examination due to COVID-19, will be allowed to appear for it in the JEE Mains 2021 and Advanced 2021 respectively. This statement was shared by the Director of IIT Delhi, V. Ramgopal Rao on Twitter.
