The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) will be conducted by NTA in a computer-based format, from May 11 to May 14. This has been confirmed by the official website of JNU. The last date for applying to the JNUEE application is March 31.
The NTA would be conducting the registration process and they will issue the admit card for the JNUEE. The candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for the exam by filling the online form which is available at the official website of NTA. Earlier, UNTIL 2018 the exam was conducted by the university, but this is the second consecutive year when NTA is conducting the entrance exam for Jawaharlal Nehru University.
The biotechnology entrance exam is also going to conduct along with JNUEE, for admitting the students for M.Sc. Page Biotechnology, M. Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology, M. VSc., and M. Tech. Biotechnology. There are a total of 54 universities participating in the biotechnology entrance exam, which is also known as the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology or CEEB. Earlier the exam was conducted by JNU on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
The selection of all the courses in JNU will be through NTA score now, merit will be decided on the basis of the computer-based test which holds 70 %weightage and viva which holds the weightage of 30 % for the admission to M.Phil and Ph.D.The procedure for the admission in MBA, MPhil, and Ph.D. programs has been through the JRF mode and will be updated on the JNU admission website soon.
