NEET 2020 Offline Registration for Kashmir and Leh Applicants

NEET 2020 Offline Registration - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently updated the curriculum for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 for the residents of Leh and Kashmir candidates, who were earlier facing difficulties in registering through the online medium. Since everyday protests are prevalent in these areas therefore the government bans the internet there and students face severe hardships to register through the online medium for the national competitive exam on time.
 

NEET 2020 Offline Registration Schedule


The NTA has released an offline registration process for such candidates for the upcoming NEET 2020 exam, and they are required to register through this easily accessible procedure before 1 January 2020. The NTA released the notice on 9 December 2019, that students who are residents of Kashmir and Leh are eligible to apply for the NEET 2020 exam through offline registration process, but the final examination date for the NEET exam remains unaffected and it will be conducted on 3 May 2020 for all the candidates.
 
The limits

This offline registration facility is only reserved for the candidates belonging to Kashmir and Leh, and other state students should notice that they have to fill the NEET 2020 online application form only for appearing in the exam. The candidates who are eligible to fill the offline registration form can download the information brochure from the NTA’s official website or get a copy regarding the same from the Nodal centers.
The offline application form is released on 9 December 2019, and candidates are required to fill this form before 1 January 2020. For any corrections in the registration details, candidates can provide their queries to the correction window from 15 - 31 January 2020. The NEET 2020 exam admit card will be released on 27 March and the exam will be conducted on 3 May 2020.
 

NEET 2020 Offline Application Procedure


Candidates can download the information brochure and registration form from the official website of NEET or NTA, for filling the form offline or can directly contact the Nodal Centres asking for the hardcopy of the offline registration form for NEET 2020 exam. The students need to submit the completely filled application form along with the registration fees at the Nodal Centres. The general category students need to pay Rs 1500 as the application fees, and the other students need to pay Rs 800 - Rs 1400 depending on schedule caste or backward category respectively.

Other Guidelines

The NTA has laid down some general guidelines for filling the offline registration form of NEET 2020, and the applicants can fill the application form only once. It is recommended that the applicants must read the information brochure, and they must ensure that the mobile number and email id provided in the application form is genuine.

The students are required to submit a demand draft in response to submit the application fees along with the form, once the form is submitted, students cannot avail withdrawal of the application fees under any circumstances. The candidates are required to provide their latest passport-sized photograph, photocopy of class 10 mark sheet along with a 4” x 6” sized postcard for posting the registration form to the board.
