Eligibility
XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English. Those who have not offered Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by MIT-ADT University. MHT-CET score (PCB Group) conducted by Government of Maharashtra. OR NEET score (PCB Group) conducted by CBSE. OR MCAER CET Score (PCB Group) conducted by Government of Maharashtra.

B. Tech. (Food Science / Food Technology) And Valid GATE / ICAR / MCAER Entrance Score.

Eligibility
Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology with prerequisite of four years B. Tech./ Equivalent degree programme, with minimum of 70% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 10 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). OR The candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their Post-Graduate Degree will also be eligible to appear for the admission process subject to the fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria in the final result thereof. NET/SET/GATE Qualifying students will be preferred. In-service candidates (Under faculty improvement programme) from State/central Govt./industry/academic institutes’ on the basis of experience and area of interest. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 70% to 65%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time. All of the candidates should clear the personal interview as a part of Ph.D. admission test.c
