Students should prepare notes for formulae, which will help them to refer just before the exam. It is important to practice diagrams and label them to score well.
General Tips For Preparation:
1.Read NCERT science books carefully. Question papers in the CBSE 10th board exam are based on NCERT books only.
2.Keep practicing CBSE class 10th board question paper of previous years as questions in exams are often repeated.
3.After completing the syllabus, keep revising all the topics on a regular basis so that students do not have difficulty recalling a topic a day before the exam.
4.Don’t learn any new topic before the exam. This will cause confusion and unnecessary stress.
5.Note down important notes on paper to memorize them quickly. Take help from different techniques such as flashcards, highlighting important topics in books, diagrams, joining a study group, etc.
6.At the time of the exam Avoid studying for long hours at a stretch and take adequate breaks in between.
7.Eat healthy foods and avoid junk foods.
8.Prepare a list of all formulae and theories in a separate notebook for easy access and memorization.
9.Students should Sleep for a minimum of 7 to 8 hours before the day of the exam.
10.Prepare a proper timetable. and plan to study schedule to follow daily so one can complete the vast science syllabus on time and allow sufficient time for each topic.
11.Write neat and clean manner in the exam answer sheet and ensure that the handwriting is properly readable.
12.Answer the question which is known and then focus on the remaining questions.
13.Keep an eye on the time as there are only three hours to attempt the paper.
14.Practice solving sample questions paper in 3 hours before the main examination as this will improve the speed of writing the paper.
15.Always examine the answer sheet to avoid silly mistakes.
16.Ensure do not waste time on questions which you don’t know.
17.Read the questions carefully and try to not make them complicated. You should be relaxed and calm during the exam.
18.Do not take the internal assessment lightly as even these marks can help one achieve a good score in the science exam.
CBSE 10TH Physics Syllabus
There are many formula-based questions, and the theorem-based questions will be asked in exams. Prepare diagrams of sound frequency, the human eye, prisms, AC and DC generator, rays of light, etc. for a better score.

Chemistry has many chemical reactions and equations to memorize. Students should understand the concept of acids and bases, chemical reactions, saponification and cleaning action of soap, etc.

Biology deals with life and living organisms. Diagrams are an essential part of biology. Students should ensure that they can draw neat and label diagrams of plants, various human body parts like the male and female reproductive organs, human heart, brain, etc. Should need to learn Mendel's experiments and the inheritance of traits in it and be aware of the complex terminologies in biology.
