NEET UG 2023 is the entrance exam for MBBS admission in India. In fact, this is one and only test available for MBBS admissions in 2023; AIIMS and JIPMER entrance exams have been scrapped from this year. Take NEET UG 2023 exam; qualify and obtain a good rank and then you can get admission in any medical college in India including all the AIIMS campuses as well as JIPMER Pondicherry.
Thus filling up the application form should be done after reading up all the instructions as you do not want to commit a mistake and get your application rejected; you will have to wait till next year i.e. 2024 till you can apply again. NEET UG 2023 exam is slated for 7th May, 2023. Last date for filing up the form is 06th April, 2023. Lets glance at a few important tips to help us in filling up the form.
Application form and Information Bulletin
• Read up the instruction in the Information Bulletin carefully.
• Application process for NEET (UG)-2023 is through “Online” mode only.
• Application Form is available at NTA website www.ntaneet.nic.in
• No other mode of submission of the Application Form will be accepted.
• A candidate is allowed to fill up only one application.
• Any noncompliance of instructions shall result in the application form being summarily disqualified.
Submission of Application Form
1. Last date for filing up the form is 06th April, 2023.
2. Submit only one Application Form.
3. Fill up the form NOW; don’t wait till the last date. There is a heavy load on the severs near the last dates and your application may not get uploaded because of the server congestion.
Email and Phone Number
1. Please make sure that you provide a correct and in use e-mail Address and Mobile Number in the Online Application Form.
2. You can use our parents email id as well as the phone number.
3. All information or any communication will be sent by NTA through email on the registered e-mail address or SMS on registered Mobile Number only.
Instructions for filling Online Application Form

Steps given below to Apply Online:
Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using your or parents unique Email Id and Mobile No.
Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form .
Step 3: Note down the system generated Application No.
Step-4: Upload scanned images of
1. Latest Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background).
2. Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb - 300 kb) in JPG/JPEG format
3. Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format
4. Left hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
5. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used.)
6. Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Step-5: Pay fee using
a. SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI
b. Keep proof of fee paid safely for future reference.
c. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account.
d. Then the candidate has to make another transaction of fee, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
Step-6: Download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page. This will happen after successful remittance of fee . Please keep copies safely for future reference.
Please Note:
• All the 6 Steps can be done together in one go or at different times.
• Final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if step-3 and step-4 under point 6 are not completed. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
• Request for refund of fee once remitted will not be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.
• The entire application process of NEET (UG)-2023 is online.
• Candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation Page to NTA through Post/ Fax/ by Hand/E-mail.
Other Important Information:
• Students should visit the NTA website on a daily basis and also check their e-mails/SMS for latest updates daily.
• Students will have to bear their own cost for appearing at the Examination Centre on Date and Timing indicated on their Admit Card issued by the NTA.
• No request to change the Examination Centre, Date and Time provided on the Admit Card will be considered under any circumstances.
• Students are advised to always keep 8-10 Passport size and 4-6 Post Card size (4”X6”) colored photographs with white background
The photographs will be used for uploading on Online Application Form, Examination Centre admission as well as for Counseling and Admission to your allotted college.
