BA Linguistics Admission Process:
Admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics is offered based on both merit and entrance exams.
Colleges and Universities generate their cut-off list based on scores of 10+2. Cut-off lists in elite colleges of Delhi University, such as Hindu College, Miranda House, Gargi College, etc., are up to 98% for BA courses.
Few institutions such as Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Chandigarh University, Delhi University, and some other universities are admitted through JNUEE, BHU UET, DUET, CUCET, etc. Scores in these entrances and the intermediate exam's score are considered during the BA Linguistics Admission.
BA Linguistics Eligibility Criteria:
Students must obtain a minimum of 40 percent in Intermediate (Class XII) from any recognized board.
If applicants are interested in studying at Delhi University, Mumbai University, or other prestigious universities, a score of more than 92 percent is required.
SC/ST/OBC/Differently qualified candidates are granted 5% relaxation under this BA Linguistic Admission Criteria.
