75 Percent Attendance Mandatory for CBSE Board Exam 2020

In its latest notice, CBSE says that those students are not to be allowed to appear for the exams, whose attendance will be calculated as less than 75 percent.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been asked all of his affiliated schools to calculate the attendance of the students who are going to appear for board exams of class 10th and 12th this year as on January 1, 2020.

But relaxation has been given to those students who have a genuine reason behind the short attendance. Still, for this, they have to submit valid supporting documents, like medical reports, with authority by January 7.

According to the time table which has been released by the board, the exams of CBSE boards is going to begin from February 15. The admit card will be given to only those whose attendance is at least 75 percent and those who are eligible by all means.

The list of short attendee is going to be seen by the regional office of the CBSE, and the final decisions would be taken on before January 7.

To pass the CBSE board exams, candidates have to clear both theory and practical exams separately; also, they need at least 33 percent marks.
