The window has been opened today for those who have not uploaded a proper image in the application form for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main April 2020. There is a window provided for the National Testing Agency (NTA) from March 8 to March 13, 2020, to the candidates who have to correct or edit their forms.
The candidates who haven’t appeared during the JEE (Main) January 2020 can apply as a fresh candidate and those who have appeared in the exam earlier can also register as an improvement. The correction window is also available at the official website, nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. The number of candidates who have applied in JEE Main January 2020 is 11 lakh among which over 9 lakh candidates had registered only for the B.Tech courses.
Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held from April 3 to April 9, and now it will take place from April 5 to April 11. It also has to be noted that the email address for the JEE Main Applications has been changed from jeemain.nic.in to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The exam pattern has been changed. Now, each section will be having 25 questions instead of 30 questions. Among these 30 questions, five will be in the numerical type or long-form. There will not be any negative marking for the long-form questions, unlike the MCQs. The last date of the application process is March 7. On March 16, the admit cards will be released and the expected date of the result is April 30, 2020.
