Film and Television Institute of India becomes (FTII) gets AICTE approval for starting five new post graduate diploma courses in applied arts, crafts and design category. Four courses from the TV including Direction, Electronic Cinematography, Video Editing and Sound Recording and Television Engineering and Feature Film Screen Play Writing has been approved by the regulatory body.
This approval will get Global recognition to the courses offered by FTII and increase job prospects for students who want to do research work abroad. This will also open avenues for students to get grants from AICTE for research work as only affiliated institutes get grants from the regulatory body.
