NEW DELHI: IGNOU or the Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to start the term-end examinations from 17th September onwards. The examinations shall be conducted only for the students of the final year of IGNOU. Further instructions regarding the June term-end exams of IGNOU will be soon updated on their website.
The admit cards or the tickets to the exam halls and the routine sheet of IGNOU June TEE will be supposedly released by the first week of September. It is expected that IGNOU term-end examinations for the batches of the first year and second-year students will be conducted in December. Students, who miss their appearing in the expected exams to be conducted from 17th September, can choose to take the exams that are expected to be conducted in December, together with the students of the first year and second year. For the students of the final year, the IGNOU term end examinations 2020 will be conducted in the same month as well.
Approximately 3 lakh numbers of students are expected to take the final year exams of IGNOU, across the country in 900 different centers prepared for the examination. It is to be advised that the students must reach the IGNOU examination centers on the exam day carrying their hall tickets as well as the student ID card.
The June Term End Examination of IGNOU was first proposed to be held from 1st June to 27th June 2020, which was postponed nationwide because of the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak. The last date of registering or re-registering for the IGNOU examinations is 31st August 2020 for the July 2020 session.
