The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar has announced that they will conduct the end-semester exams for the outgoing students through the online mode to make sure that they will complete their graduation by time.
The institute says that two alternative examinations are being scheduled from June 24 and First week of August respectively. Further, they informed that if the pandemic situation normalises by the end of July or in the first week of August then the students can come to the IIT campus to appear for the second examination.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had released a notification for conducting the remaining examinations of class 10 and class 12 examinations which are scheduled from July 1 to July 15, in the view of COVID-19 pandemic. Also, CBSE had decided to conduct the examination at their respective schools of the candidates rather than the examination centers and those students who have shifted to their homes can give the examination in their present districts.
