The result of JEE Main 2020 paper 2 has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website. Candidates can check the results from JEE Main website by entering the date of birth and application number or password. JEE Main 2020 paper 2, results contain the subject wise and total NTA scores of the candidate. The NTA scores are the normalized scores across the two sessions of the exam. JEE Main 2020 paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning has been conducted on January 6th, 2020 in two shifts. According to the NTA data, 138409 candidates have registered for B.Arch and 59003 candidates have registered for B.Planning. Out of which the 112679 Candidates have appeared for B.Arch and 44517 candidates have appeared for B.Planning.
Steps to check JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Result
- Visit the JEE Main 2020 Portal: jeemain.nic.in
- Click on the link on which result has been given that is result link
- Login using Application Number and Password or Application Number and Date of Birth
- After getting logged in, the result will be displayed on screen
- Download the result and take the print for future reference.
Key Points about JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 result
- NTA Scores are normalized scores across the multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.
- NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.
- The NTA Score indicates the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below the same or lower raw scores of the candidate in that session.
- The NTA scores of a Candidate have been calculated by using the formula:
(100 X Number of candidates appeared in the 'Session' with raw score equal to or less than the candidate)/total number of candidates appeared in the 'Session'
- The total NTA Score is not an aggregate or average of the NTA Score of an individual subject.
