The students, who will come from other states or abroad to take the test, are advised to stay in institutional or home quarantine for a duration of 14 days since arrival into the state. This was stated by the department to ensure that infection doesn’t get transmitted among the examinees. Those who would accompany the candidates will also stay in quarantine for 14 days. The decision also speaks that separate exam centers or classrooms will be allocated for the students, who are under quarantine or for those, coming from zones marked for containment.
The authorities invigilating and inspecting the respective exam centers are directed to prepare necessary arrangements in the infrastructure, with the consultation of the health department. The invigilators will receive adequate training, sensitizing them on conducting the test while preventing the spread of Covid-19.
Other recommendations such as conducting the test in non-air-conditioned halls or classrooms, mandatory for invigilators to wear gloves and triple-layered masks, candidates placing answer sheets in plastic bags kept in the room, etc have also been received.
