The pandemic has converted our lives into good and bad both. It has introduced so many new things to our lives that were at first ‘alien’ for us. And with this pandemic, a new concept came to our lives “new normal.” But the term “normal” itself can be very contradictory. Everyone has their versions of normal. It is very much possible that someone’s ‘new normal’ can be another’s ‘normal’ and vis-à-vis.
These different aspects of normal will continue in the future as well. But the sector that this normal and new normal has affected the most is education. Enormous discussions about this have already been made, but the question still arises what will be the future of education?
Education in these difficult times has been affected badly. A lot of unknown things have been introduced in this sector. But we have to keep in mind that it will be easy to forget all our previous knowledge and engulf a brand-new system of education. The difficulty in front of the students and teachers in this matter seems to be absolutely equal. The ‘new normal’ of online education and digital learning has been a rocky journey for most of the students and teachers in India.
But for the western countries, it was quite a natural thing. With time and situations evolving around us, we need to prepare ourselves for all the unexpected, new things. It can be interpreted that this Covid-19 has actually come as an opportunity to adapt and evolve ourselves for a better and bright future.
