UGC NET Exam Postponed, to be conducted from September 24
The dates of the National Eligibility Test were clashing with the dates of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Examinations, due to which the Ministry of education decided to postpone the examination. The exam was earlier scheduled to occur between the 16th and 25th of September, but now it will begin on September 24.
The ICAR Examinations will be conducted on the 16th, 17th, 22nd, and 23rd of September, and the UGC NET 2020 will be conducted from the 24th of September. This will ensure that students are going to be able to give both examinations without any time clash.
Both the exams were originally meant to be held in June, but were postponed due to the global coronavirus pandemic that resulted in a nationwide lockdown. The new schedule for the examinations was released by the NTA or National Testing Agency.
