CUET 2026 Exam to Start from 11 May
The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) is set to begin tomorrow, 11 May, and will run until 31 May 2026. More than 1.568 million students have registered for this examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination guidelines for this nationwide test. The guidelines detail the permitted items for the examination, the dress code, and other relevant information. They also outline the items that are prohibited during the test. CUET 2026 Dress Code Guidelines
The NTA advises all candidates taking the examination to adhere to the following instructions:
- All candidates may carry a transparent water bottle.
- Candidates are permitted to wear religious articles or symbols, provided they are checked at the centre in good time. This is particularly noteworthy.
- The wearing of religious threads, such as the “Kalawa”, is permitted.
- It is advisable to wear light-coloured white clothing. Candidates may wear woollen clothing if they feel the need, provided they arrive at the centre in good time to undergo a search.
- It is advisable to wear plain shoes, sandals, and low-heeled shoes.
CUET 2026 Admit Card Mandatory
All students are advised to ensure they bring their admit card to the examination centre. You will not be permitted entry to the examination centre without an admit card, and you will consequently be unable to sit the exam.
