The JEE Advanced 2021 Exam syllabus is released by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur. All the necessary information is mentioned at jeeadv.ac.in. IIT Kharagpur has even added a link to the various mock tests, which students can easily activate to prepare for the exam.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur for the admissions in various programs at IITs. The scheduled date and day for the exam is July 03, 2021, Saturday. Paper 1 to be held in the morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Paper 2 will be conducted during the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The Union Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, has announced a special opportunity to the students who missed the exam in 2020 due to the Covid- 19 situations. In 2021, there will be a relaxation in the eligibility criteria of 75 percent aggregate marks, considering all the loss students had to face during the Covid pandemic.
Revised Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2021
The earlier fixed eligibility criteria to secure a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in the class 12th examinations, will not be continued in 2021. Moreover, the candidates who qualified for JEE Main 2020 but did not appear for the JEE Advanced 2020 will also be eligible to give the exam in 2021.
Details of JEE Advance 2021
This exam is conducted for admission to 23 Indian Institute of Technology, i.e. IITs. Students who qualify for the JEE Advanced will be permitted to get admission in IITs based upon their ranks. The Joint Entrance Examination Mains will be conducted 4 times a year from now onwards. These four sessions will be held in February, March, April, and May. The JEE Mains Examination for the first session of 2021 will be held from 23 February to 26 February 2021.
