Reading Mission to launch in Haryana

 

TheReading Mission- Haryana’ has been initiated by the state government to inculcate reading habits among students, as said by the Education Minister Kanwar Pal on Monday.

 

He added that reading helps in developing social values of egalitarianism, tolerance, and justice that is why the ‘Reading Mission- Haryana’ has been started in the state. In a release, the education minister said that the mission has been launched on the lines of the central government’s ‘Reading Mission 2022’, this will aim to address the lost glory of reading books. Among students.

 

Under this mission, once a month in educational institutions, several book review sessions shall be organized by the students.

 

Along with this, a 45-minute mass reading program is going to be held on the fourth Saturday of the month, the Education Minister had added.
