About MBBS

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a 5.5 years professional course for which the students are awarded the degrees in medicine and surgery upon successful completion of the course. The course aims at imparting quality education and training to students to help contribute to the growing sector of health and medicine. The course is regulated by the Medical Council of India and is spanned for four and a half years divided into semesters, followed by a compulsory internship for a year. About B.Tech.

In India, Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) is a professional engineering undergraduate degree awarded after completion of four years of academic study in engineering field. It is offered in many disciplines. Some universities in India offer Bachelor of Technology instead of Bachelor of Engineering for the same Engineering courses but the difference between the two is that B.Tech is skill oriented course and is mostly based on practical and application based research.

About BDS

BDS course is focused on training students with knowledge and skills related to general dental practices to treat, prevent and diagnose oral diseases. Some colleges offer internships as a part of the course. It is an undergraduate course in the field of dentistry. This course helps an aspirant to become a dentist. The duration of BDS degree ranges from 3 years to 5 years. The course can be pursued either in full time mode or in part time mode through correspondence. About B.Des.

Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is an established degree for courses in design at undergraduate level. B.Des degree is a three to four year course for various specialisations in design. These include Fashion Designing, Interior Designing, Accessory Designing, Industry Design, Textile Designing and many others. B.Des degree is offered in various design specialisations such as Graphic Designing, Multimedia Designing, VFX Design, Visual Communication, and Game Designing.

The course curriculum consists of CAD, CAM, product development, marketing, specialisation specific subjects, vocational subjects, elective subjects as well as personality and skills development subjects. Students who pursue B.Des course also participate as interns and take part in events as well as exhibitions at national as well as international level.

B.Des Eligibility

1. Students who have passed Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination can pursue the B.Des course.
2. Students can pursue the course irrespective of streams i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts and Humanities.
3. The age limit for admission to B.Des courses is minimum 19 or 20 years as specified by the institutes at the time of admission.
